# Connect a platform (Leboncoin, Gîtes de France) to your properties via iCal on Biloki
## In a few minutes, link any external platform to your Biloki calendar - in both directions - to keep your availability up to date everywhere, without double entry.
**Connecting a platform not linked to Biloki via API (Gîtes de France, Leboncoin, etc.):**
Airbnb, Booking and Expedia are connected to Biloki via API: automatic synchronisation of prices, availability and bookings in both directions. For platforms that have no API connection with Biloki (Gîtes de France, etc.), you can link them via an iCal feed - a simple calendar link that only synchronises blocked dates, not prices.
**How to set it up on Biloki?**
1. Click on Properties, then on the relevant property’s page, then on Booking platforms, and finally on Configure under External calendars (iCal).
⚠️ Important: you must complete both steps below (Import AND Export), otherwise synchronisation will only work in one direction. If you only import, your Biloki bookings will not block the dates on the external platform, and vice versa.
When you click on “Configure under External calendars (iCal)”, 2 tabs will appear:
**1. Import the external platform’s calendar into Biloki**
In the Import tab:
1. Enter a name to identify the calendar (e.g. “Gîtes de France”).
2. Paste the iCal link provided by the external platform (to be retrieved from its own management space/extranet).
3. Click on Add this calendar.
Once added, any booking made on this external platform automatically blocks the corresponding dates in Biloki (and therefore on Airbnb, Booking and Expedia).
**2. Export the Biloki calendar to the external platform**
In the Export tab, a unique iCal link is generated for this property (`https://app.biloki.fr/ical/export/...`). Copy this link and paste it into the iCal import field of the external platform (Gîtes de France, etc.). Any booking made on Biloki (Airbnb, Booking, Expedia, or direct) will then automatically block the dates on this platform.
💡 Regenerating the link creates a new export URL and invalidates the old one - use this if you think the link has been shared by mistake. You will then need to update the link on all external platforms that were using it.
**What you need to know about iCal**
1. An iCal feed only synchronises availability (blocked/free dates), never prices or guest information.
2. Both directions (import + export) must be configured so that the property stays synchronised everywhere, without any risk of double booking.
3. iCal synchronisation is not instant: it happens automatically every 10 minutes, unlike platforms connected via API (Airbnb, Booking, Expedia), which update in real time.
