# Step 3: Set up your team in Biloki
## Employees or external service providers. Each team member has an interface and rights suited to their role. Here is how to add them and configure their access.
In Biloki, you can build your team by adding two types of members: employees and external service providers. Each has a different interface and different rights.
**Add a member (Employee or External service provider):**
Go to the Teams tab from the main menu, then click Add a member. Enter the person’s email address and click Search.
1. If the person already has a Biloki account, their profile appears automatically.
2. If they do not have one, an account will be created automatically. In that case, enter their first name, last name and job title.
Then choose the type of member:
1. Employee of my team: works exclusively for you (manager interface).
2. Independent service provider: can work for several clients (service provider interface).
**1. Employees**
An employee has access to the same interface as the concierge company (manager interface). As the main administrator, you can define precisely what they can see and do in Biloki.
Permissions can be configured at two levels:
1. By feature: you choose the tabs the employee can access (Properties, Bookings, Interventions...).
2. By property: you can restrict access to certain properties only. For example, an employee may only have access to 3 properties out of 10, in order to assign missions, reply to messages, etc.
This lets you organise your team efficiently, especially if you have several employees in charge of different property portfolios.
**2. External service providers**
An external service provider does not have access to the manager interface. They have a dedicated interface (green interface) designed for their use: receiving their missions, accepting or refusing them, filling in the job specifications and validating their interventions.
The service provider does not have access to the concierge company’s confidential data or to client information.
