(Host mode) - Connect your Booking properties on Biloki

Do you manage your own properties in host mode? This is the fastest way to add your Booking properties - Biloki automatically imports your reservations.

This article explains how to connect your Biloki property to your Booking.com account, in order to automatically synchronise your reservations and messages.

💡 This step takes place after connecting your property via the Airbnb import (see the article “Connecting your properties from Airbnb in host mode on Biloki”).

💡 This article covers single-room listings, with a dedicated Booking ID per property. If your Booking property groups several properties under the same listing (one room per property, like a hotel), this is a multi-room case: follow the article “Step 2 - Managing a multi-room listing on Booking.com” instead.

Before you start

You must have all of these elements before connecting:

  • A Booking.com extranet account, with your login credentials.
  • Your Booking.com listing already exists. Biloki connects to an existing listing; it does not create one on Booking.com. It does not need to be active: you can connect before it is even open for sale.
  • A cancellation policy set on each rate plan you wish to use. Booking.com no longer sets one by default: until you choose one, dates on that rate plan cannot open for sale. Configure it in the Booking.com extranet, under Rates & Availability, then Rate Plans, then Edit Policy.
  • A property created in Biloki for this property, if not already done (see Properties, then Add a property).
  • The Booking.com hotel ID. The extranet calls it “hotel ID” or “property ID”. Log in to the extranet on a computer and look at the top left, next to the Booking.com logo: the number displayed is your property ID. Click on it and copy it from the dropdown menu that appears. It generally has 7 to 8 digits. If you also see a 10-digit number, that is a room ID: it is the property ID, the shorter one, that you need.

Step 1 - Check that no other software is already connected on Booking

Before connecting Biloki, make sure no other connectivity provider (channel manager) is already connected to your Booking account. Otherwise, the connection will conflict.

  1. On the Booking.com extranet, click on your profile in the top right.
  2. Click on Connectivity provider.
  3. Check the active connection:
    • If Channex.io is already connected → everything is fine, you can move on to the next step.
    • If it is another piece of software → click Disconnect to remove it before continuing. Then click Search, type “Channex.io” and accept this connectivity provider.

💡 When selecting Channex.io, Booking.com sends you a verification code by SMS or email. Have your phone or inbox ready.

Step 2 - Retrieve the Booking hotel ID

Use the hotel ID identified in “Before you start” above.

⚠️ Do not confuse the hotel ID with an individual room ID (10 digits, displayed in brackets under a room name on the “Properties” page of the extranet). It is the entire property ID that must be given to Biloki.

Step 3 - Connect Booking from Biloki

  1. Go back to Biloki, on the relevant property card.
  2. Click on the Booking platforms tab.
  3. Find Booking in the list and click Connect.
  4. Paste the Booking hotel ID retrieved in the previous step.
  5. Confirm.

The connection is then made automatically: Biloki retrieves your Booking reservations (visible in the Bookings tab in Biloki), and you can receive and reply to guest messages directly from the platform.

⚠️ Once the connection is established, Booking displays a message indicating that availability and rates can no longer be modified from the extranet. This is normal: everything is now managed from Biloki, which automatically sends changes to Booking.

Step 4 - Open the calendar to make the listing bookable

Once the connection is made, open the property calendar in Biloki with a price on each date to sell. Until this is done, Booking displays “No availability” and your listing cannot be booked.

⚠️ If you already had bookings taken manually or by phone for this property, enter them in Biloki first before opening the calendar. Otherwise, these dates would reopen for sale and could be booked a second time.

FAQ

1. Booking.com displays the message “Unable to connect Channex.io” when selecting the connectivity provider?

This message can have three causes. Check them in this order:

a) Your listing address has not yet been confirmed.
For some listings, Booking.com sends a code by post, to the property address, to verify that the property exists. Until this code has been entered in the extranet, no connectivity provider can be connected.
→ Enter the code received by post in the Booking.com extranet (Booking generally displays a message asking you to do so), then redo step 1.

Example: you have just created your listing and have not yet received Booking.com’s letter. Wait until you have received it and entered the code before connecting Biloki.

b) The connectivity provider has not been set up.
Channex.io must be selected and accepted in the Booking.com extranet before Biloki can connect.
→ Redo step 1: click on your profile, then on Connectivity provider, search for “Channex.io”, accept it and enter the verification code received by SMS or email.

c) A browser issue.
→ Close the page and redo the operation from Google Chrome.

If the problem persists after these three checks, contact Biloki support.

2. The connection is made, but Booking.com displays “No availability”?

Check these two points:

a) The calendar is not open in Biloki.
→ Open the property calendar in Biloki with a price on each date to sell (see step 4).

b) No cancellation policy is attached to the rate plan.
Booking.com no longer sets a default cancellation policy. Until a rate plan has one, its dates cannot open for sale.
→ In the Booking.com extranet, go to Rates & Availability, then Rate Plans, then Edit Policy, and choose a cancellation policy for each rate plan you want to use.

Example: your listing has two rate plans, “Standard” and “Non-refundable”. If only “Standard” has a cancellation policy, only “Standard” plan dates will open for sale.

3. You have several properties to connect on the same Booking.com account?

This question concerns several distinct properties, each with their own hotel ID, for example two apartments at different addresses.
→ Redo steps 1 to 4 for each property: check the connectivity provider, retrieve its hotel ID, connect it from the corresponding property card in Biloki, then open its calendar.

Example: you have an apartment in Nantes (ID 1234567) and a studio in La Baule (ID 7654321). Connect ID 1234567 on the “Nantes Apartment” card in Biloki, then ID 7654321 on the “La Baule Studio” card.

💡 If your properties are grouped under the same Booking property (one address, several rooms), this is a multi-room case: follow the article “Step 2 - Managing a multi-room listing on Booking.com” instead.
